Student: Elijah W.,  8th grade

Accomplishments: Elijah began services when he was in the third grade. His average was a 70. He had executive functioning challenges and needed 1 on1 coaching. He received services until the end of 8th grade. His average at the end of 8th grade was a 95. He passed all his state exams, took AP classes and now attends college. 


Years in tutoring: 2014 - 2019

Ivan, 3rd Grade

Diagnosed with dyslexia, Ivan was 6 and could not read. He struggled with basic phonics.


Accomplishments: By the second grade he read on grade level with ease. He is eager to read and show off his reading skills!

Accomplishments: Diagnosed with autism and emotional disability, Augustine struggled with writing expository texts and making his writing clearly understood. Today, Augustine writes thoughtfully and is able to clearly articulate his thoughts on fiction and non-fiction writing assignments.

Accomplishments: Jacob began tutoring with multiple disabilities including autism and ADHD. He read at a second grade level when he was in the 5th grade and was failing most of his classes. By the 7th grade, he was passing all his classing and reading on a 6th grade level.

 Diagnosed with ADHD, Dylan struggled  with articulating himself in writing. He also had extreme difficulty in grammar and had a small vocabulary when writing. Dylan now writes with depth and clarity. His voice is now clearly heard in his writing.
